Moon/Enso
by Wada Gesshin (1800-1870)
There is no inscription or signature but Gesshin's Siddham (Sanskrit) seal is at the bottom.

This painting of a moon/mind enso could not be simpler but it radiates light and peace. Gesshin ("Moon Mind") was a professional painter who became a Shingon monk after attaining enlightenment gazing at the full moon.
